RE: Lions of Manyeleti - lionuk - 05-13-2021 (05-09-2021, 12:40 AM)Gijima Wrote: Recent sighting of RRM. I see at least seven cubs, so they all seem to be doing well. That's wonderful to see that pride doing very well under RRM's protection as a lone male. Those cubs seems to be doing well. Shame it can't been said the same for Othawa Male, who kept on venturing into Birmingham's territory when he was supposed to be at home with his pride, his territory. Now it's not certain yet what's going to happen with his 7 innocent cubs. Just hope for the best for them. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Potato - 05-14-2021 Imbali update LIONS OF THE MLUWATI CONCESSION: The Imbali Pride: The entire pride was found on a number of occasions near Imbali Safari Lodge—from behind our staff village to Predator Plains. The younger cubs are definitely growing up quickly. The dominant male has been scent marking and checking territory often these days. The Hamiltons Pride: The females are still split up into smaller groups consisting of 2 – 4 females and offspring in each. Two of the females have cubs with them, and our guests have been having some incredible sightings of the little furballs on the S125 Loop South low-level bridge near Hamiltons Tented Camp RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 05-14-2021 (05-14-2021, 05:50 PM)Potato Wrote: Imbali update So Imbali/S8 male still dominant of Imbali pride (18 members if i remember), but he definitely is trying his luck in northern Sabi Sands, quite similar to what OM was doing, hope he doesnt have the same fate.. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 05-16-2021 Great photo of Nharu pride in August 2016 with 10 cubs : Photo Credit : Christof Schoeman *This image is copyright of its original author Its quite remarkable that 9 out of this 10 cubs reached adulthood (2 males disappeared in nomadic life, so 7 now alive) as when Sizanani died, Skorro soon after abandoned them under pressure and 3 females have to protect them vs N. Avocas, Avoca/Giraffes, Orpens, RRM over the years.. Hope they will have same success with remaining RRM's cubs.. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tonpa - 05-17-2021 Any Ideas? RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tonpa - 05-17-2021 Some of the Nharu cubs I think, I remember somebody mentioning that one of them was blind in one eye RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 05-17-2021 (05-17-2021, 04:41 PM)Tonpa Wrote: Any Ideas? RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Cunaguaro - 05-18-2021 So the Tintswalo boys' room called "Short Mane" never showed up? Such a shame, lately as he grown he was actually looking to be biggest of the 4.. Without a doubt, it was the most promising of the 4. Very sad that he left. I don't know why but that particular lion from the guys from tintswalo seemed attractive to me in a special way, his appearance and his face seemed very powerful to me. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Cunaguaro - 05-18-2021 In this particular video I was impressed by its appearance, it is the one on the right. Beautiful boy! It can be seen when it appears at 15:40 |
