Really? Tintswalo ranger Niel said the mbiri cubs were borm starting from early to mid 2016. Nharu pride from late 2015 to early-ish 2016.

Can u perhaps shed some light or share some info on your dates? Because if i have the wrong info... i would like to know for sure when they were all born.

Thank you very much btw for ur reply.

If you are intrested you can check Tintswalo blogs from that peroid of time (https://www.tintswalo.com/safari/rangers-blog/). There you have blog about oldest litters: https://www.tintswalo.com/safari/uncategorized/24-28-november-2016-new-additions-to-the-mbiri-pride/

@Tr1x24

Thank you for clearing that up buddy. I just looked at the Tintswalo updates from 2017. 100% correct!

Incorrect dates from the ranger at Tintswalo then because i asked him multiple times. Reason i asked him if he was sure is because I firstly had the mbiri cubs birth year noted down as "late 2016" but I changed it last year to "early 2016" due to what he told me.
i am very grateful that i can now change it to the real dates again.

Thank you for clarifying.

Rangers can be mistaken, its hard to remember all the dates.

First 2 Mbiri cubs where born in November 2016 and then few more in December 2016, they still had cubs after that in early to mid 2017.

Thats 100% true, you can find that on Tintswalo reports.

Nharhus/Tumbelas are around 1 year older, also depends on litter, but born from late 2015 to early-ish 2016, as you said.

@Tr1x24

Yes they certainly can. Understandable considering how many animals they gotta keep tabs on.
Thank you for your confirmation.

Subadults of Talamati pride growing to an extend that it is already very hard to tell them apart from the adults just by their bodysize. Dark Mane Avocas is not with them. He still seem to be on track of younger Nkuchuma females.

In this and on recent sightings in Djuma, there was only 12 members of Talamatis, did they lost 2 members??

Sub adults are already at the age they can spent some time on their own and that is what I expect to be the reason the are on 12 Talamati pride members seen.

2 lioness were also viewed separated on Chitwa some time ago, but I believe the one eyed lioness was one of them, so that would hardly explain the numbers. I would bet two individuals chose to lie in grass nearby and was not spotted/counted, that is the most probably explanation.

RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Potato - 02-26-2021
