I was hoping he would make it through. That is yet to be seen. Demise of Orpen males can for sure cause a lot of changes around, but does not have to. We will see which male lions will try now to put a claim on Mbiri pride. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 12-05-2020 Just seen the news.. I feared of this as soon as i seen those pictures few days ago.. Who would have taught that Buddy will outlived Junior just a week ago?? No one.. I dont feel so sad about lions who pass away after 10 yrs old/their prime, because they give it all they already could.. But Junior was in his absolute prime 8.5/almost 9 yrs old and he had an future with Mbiri pride.. Junior ( just over 3 yrs old) and Ginger, early 2015, he was already bigger then Ginger, what a beast: *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author RIP most legendary son of Matimba males, Nkuhuma Junior.. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Gijima - 12-05-2020 The Koppies Pride were three strong at the start of 2020, with seven cubs on the way, and two healthy males over their territory— now the Koppies “pride” is gone, who know where the lone female is, Junior is dead, and Buddy is riddled with TB. A whole family tree has been wiped out... just unbelievable. *This image is copyright of its original author

Talamati pride is a big pride and rather will not take lightly roaring of other pride in their territory. 15 members of all ages. They're a force to be reckoned with. The Imbali male and Imbali pride were on Buffelshoek boundary lately. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Timbavati - 12-05-2020 Young Junior in a tree with his little sisters/cousins. April 2013. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Timbavati - 12-07-2020 A real treat for Male Lion lovers. Dark mane Avoca, the young Mbiri Males and the Red Road male RETURNS! RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 12-07-2020 (12-07-2020, 10:24 PM)TinoArmando Wrote: The Red Road Male Returns | On the Beat in the Manyeleti # 136 Holy how big is RRM?? He said that he is bigger then Orpen males, who are not small males.. And then he said after he found DM Avoca, that RRM is definitely bigger then him, bigger body and head size, and DM has massive head and body himself.. RRM must be one of the biggest males in Kruger... Also no word of Buddy, im affraid he wont last long alone, especially without a pride.. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Gijima - 12-08-2020 Red Road looks great! He’s not even in his prime, so it’s not surprising he’s getting better looking every day. I always feel like 7-8 years old is when males look their best (best mane, size, etc). Also he’s one of those lions that always looks... I’m not sure what word to use....thick? He reminds me of a Mfumo or Caesar Notch. That same body type. *This image is copyright of its original author (Mfumo always with a big belly lol) The Mbiri/Nharu males too... so impressive. Makes me a bit sad for their half brothers Tumbelas. They don’t even look half as developed as these guys. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Hairy tummy - 12-08-2020 Who sired the RRM? RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 12-08-2020 (12-08-2020, 02:37 AM)Hairy tummy Wrote: Who sired the RRM? Its not certaint, for long is believed that he is sired by Avoca/Giraffes, but new evidence shows us that he is more likely to be sired by Scorro Thanda Impi male. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Hairy tummy - 12-08-2020 From my understanding the old avoca/giraffe males were huge chunky lions so maybe they sired him, after Hearing today about how large he is. Scorro wasn't to big was he? |
