The photographer in the comments confirms 4 males were with him at the sighting…..this is huge huge great news.

The sighting was on SS but I’m posting here cause the guide did say they returned north so I suspect this wasn’t a long term thing…..for now at least.

‘ A great recent sighting of the mighty Red Road Male lion, a true Solo Beast and a fierce protector of the Nahru pride, he has proven to be an indomitable force!’

These four sons are the four we've seen from before? Or are these the newly grown sub sons? I ask because I've read that some of the previous four sons of his were gone/missing.

Same 4 sons…..two had previously presumably had left but seem to have returned

Tintswalo used to publish a good map but it’s outdated now but apart for some shifting, it includes the prides

The Skorro pride has shifted towards Kruger and haven’t been sighted on Manyeleti in over a year.

The Koppies Pride was pressured by the Mbiris and forced into Kruger around end of 2020. They haven’t been seen since.

I have never been able to get a good grasp of Imbali or Torchwood. I always struggle knowing their status
