RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Gavskrr - 05-10-2022 Ncila is recovering well, Lambile doesn't seem to limp as bad as before, these boys are making their story I hope they succeed Credits: Tintswalo lodge RE: Lions of Manyeleti - lionuk - 05-12-2022 The Talamati Breakaway females and their five cubs, along with the S8 male on Buffelshoek *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author It's sweet to see the S8 showing love and patience for the cub RE: Lions of Manyeleti - lionuk - 05-12-2022 Mandevu and a Mbiri lioness by Vestment Mfumo Machavi *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Mdz123 - 05-12-2022 (05-12-2022, 12:43 PM)lionuk Wrote: The Talamati Breakaway females and their five cubs, along with the S8 male on Buffelshoek Imbali male has always been really nice to his cubs. In the older Mluwathi concession updates, they mentioned that he was letting his cubs climb all over him and play with his mane/tail. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 05-16-2022 Poor Ncile, those wounds look so painful: RE: Lions of Manyeleti - DARK MANE - 05-16-2022 (05-16-2022, 01:06 AM)Tr1x24 Wrote: Poor Ncile, those wounds look so painful:He needs a second visit of vet RE: Lions of Manyeleti - afortich - 05-16-2022 (05-16-2022, 02:01 AM)DARK MANE Wrote:Do you know how he got that huge cut??(05-16-2022, 01:06 AM)Tr1x24 Wrote: Poor Ncile, those wounds look so painful:He needs a second visit of vet RE: Lions of Manyeleti - BA0701 - 05-16-2022 (05-16-2022, 02:24 AM)afortich Wrote:(05-16-2022, 02:01 AM)DARK MANE Wrote:Do you know how he got that huge cut??(05-16-2022, 01:06 AM)Tr1x24 Wrote: Poor Ncile, those wounds look so painful:He needs a second visit of vet Sadly, he was caught in a snare. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 05-16-2022 (05-16-2022, 02:01 AM)DARK MANE Wrote: He needs a second visit of vet Problem is that his wounds are in the area of mouth where he always streches it when eating, meaning that it is hard to heal as tissue is broken all over again. Wounds around the back of his neck will heal quickly, but those near mouth needs time. If wound gets nastier, they will prob intervene again. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Hairy tummy - 05-16-2022 Poor thing, i wish him well RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Horizon - 05-16-2022 If you compare this to the last sighting, definitely got better. Since he is the dominant one, if anything happens to him, there will be a huge shift in the Lion dynamics there. As we know, a while back, two young black Dam Males arrived there and left. May be felt this big boy’s presence. If his condition worsens, there is will be another intervention surely. His prospects are looking good. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - RookiePundit - 05-17-2022 I think Mandevu is of the same size, perhaps looking a bit more impressive due to having a bigger mane (not just now due to Ncile's confition), I think the perceived hierarchy there is a personality thing (and possibly not as contested as usual and odd due to them living in their natal pride* and mating with close relatives, I remember just one video form Tintswalos where Ncile was chasing off Lambile due to female back then, not much reported aggression among them overall). It is unsubstantional but the fact Ncile is missing tip of his tail is itself a hint he might not be the most cautious, timid, laidback individual by nature (disclaimer: I have no idea how it happened).
