If i am not mistaken, Mbiri pride now are down to 4 cubs. Two orpen cubs and two youngest Tintswalo cubs born December 2021. Would be 5 if Kupona made it.

If slide 2 was taken recently (I’ve asked photographer and awaiting confirmation on date take ) then there is a new litter of cubs in the Mbiri Pride
Also 1/3 Tintswalo. My guess is Lambile
CORRECTION: Seems that the two cubs at the back are the Orpen. Camera is just playing tricks with my eyes. SMH
I also read where two more lionesses are suspected to be pregnant. So new cubs are on the horizon.

Spoke to Wesley, they had a run in with the Nharus and Red Road who have been pushing south in response to the Mbiris pushing south

Well, lions travel, distance from Pungwe in Southern Manyeleti to Elephant Plains is less then 5 km, humans can walk that in a half- hour to 1h. Especially if they got chased by RRM and Nharhus.
As we see, N'ws where seen today patroling thru 3-4 reserves.
Lions on average travel to 10 km a day, sometimes more, sometimes less.
