RE: Lions of Manyeleti - BA0701 - 11-21-2021 (11-20-2021, 07:24 PM)Tonpa Wrote: Really nice video - you can start to see the sexual dimorphism between the Nharu cubs now, they have some emerging mane hairs and stand a bit taller then the female cubs I remember when the Ximungwe cub was little, there were a lot of us, including me, who believed she might be a male, as she had some fluff around her neck. Then one day it was confirmed she was female. Definitely no confusion in this case, your comment just reminded me of that situation. I’m impressed how well Lambile looks. It’s the most ‘filled-out’ I’ve seen him in over a year. Looks like he’s coping well with the atrophy in his hip RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Peteporker - 11-23-2021 (11-23-2021, 02:25 AM)criollo2mil Wrote:(11-22-2021, 11:28 PM)Tonpa Wrote: Part 2 Do you know when and how he got the atrophy in his hip? Was it caused by a hunting accident? RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tonpa - 11-23-2021 The Nwaswitsontso males and hamiltons pride? Hunting is very plausible. I dont think Mbiri males mated with their own sisters. Two months ago, there was a new litter shown and those cubs could have fell in the timeline of when Scar mated. I’ve asked Tintswalo to clarify if this is a new second litter, or that same litter from two month ago. For reference Scar mated with Mbiri lionesses appx last week April/1st week of May. 1st reveal of a three cub litter was made Sept 21 and they looked appx 4-6 weeks old. This litter looks of similar age as the one seen prior, so it could be re-shared old footage. |
