Orcas are badass! Combination of size, ferocity and intelligence make them the perfect predator.

They are, not many species can give to them more than they can handle. Sperm whales are one of those few which can do that depending about situation. If there is a big bull or bulls nearby chances are better but when there are more or less only cows/juveniles, it is immediately much more difficult as far as I have had time to look different incidents.

Thanks,
I think both Dolphins and Orcas are the top intelligent sea creature. (Is there any other sea creature which is more intelligent ?) and they both are social too.
So my question is which is more intelligent between them and have better social structure?

That is difficult question, because sperm whales and other whales are also very intelligent. For instance sperm whales aren´t only whales able to fight back to orcas and force them to flee by working together in groups and all the time ocean is full of voices. Some whales have been even helping other species against orcas if I remember right. Orcas and dolphins have got most attention, maybe because both have been small enough to be captured and having performing to people. Still all whales seem to have good social structures and many fascinating things revealed when looking closer.

I don´t dare to say which whale or dolphin is smartest because I doubt, that there is really enough information to be sure. Maybe someone have more information... but I really don´t feel, that I could answer to that question :)

One example about it, that there are species not only able to defend themselves, but also others. I personally find this kind of actions fascinating. We can see something similar time to time on land too, but knowing whales it makes you wonder what happens inside their brains when they act like this and even could some species understand each others to some point and react when hearing some other species calling for help... A little bit out of topic of this thread, but still interesting :)

I also read few articles while searching them, and to my surprise they have some very good observations.

Sperm Whale brains is the biggest of all sea creature. But orcas brain-weight-to-body-weight ratios is equivalent to chimps. Their dialect is very high level and they can learn new one.
So far all the studies show Orcas have the intelligence level that is completely different than human and even superior in many cases.

Whole family of cetaceans are considered intelligent, but orcas, dolphins, sperm whales, and porpoises are supposed to be smartest.

Few articles I like to suggest

I have read many articles, but I am not sure if some big whales have been studied/observed so much as some others. It can be, that some are smarter as it often is, but I think, that there are many surprising discoveries ahead when these animals are observed and studied more and more. One thing is quite clear, orca is real apex predator of seas. When we think apex predator as species, which isn´t hunted by any other species, not even great white shark can be called apex predator, because there are orcas :)

What make orcas special is following
1. Highly intelligent and smarter creature
2. Social Animal
3. different type of Dialect and ability to learn more
4. Group hunter
5. Big size

That quite new case, which I shared first was interesting in that way, that sperm whales were told to change defence formations when noticing, that one didn´t work so well. And all the time that noise there. It is a fascinating to think, that both of these species might be able to communicate there all the time and react to things which others are doing as organized groups and even there might be instructions what to do...
