If she doesn't have a name already. We really should call her Helena.

Avoca males are now terrytorial on the part of the Kambula males territory. It is natural that in such case Kambula females will mate with them. Females are not to be blamed for the males competition over control over the pride. The only reason females used to stick to their present dominant males is the safety of the cubs they have with those males. There is no any loyalty of pride females to dominant males beyond that and since some Kambulas do not have cubs at the moment it is natural for them to mate with males present in the arena.

Well for example Kambula 2 do a lot of domage, as she is infertile she mate with anyone of the males that attract some male as Othawa male...
The same happend with Ximhungwe mating with Selati, that give them confidence to push more and more... They play a central role into that.
But of course i don't blame them, there is their way of life, i still have in mind Styx pride who fight against Kinky tail and Mr.t for protect theirs cubs...

Cubless lionesses from Styx and Sparta pride were mating with Mlovathis as well, similarly as Kambulas do now.

Having a few infertile lionesses around has its advantages as well.
They help hunting and keeping guard while they wont burden the pride with extra cubs to look after.
Their constant need for mating helps preventing the resident males from leaving to seek new lionesses. Not to mention they are keeping invading males entertained while the pride can evacuate or the males can regroup for an attack.

So I think their contribution is more a positive than a negative. .

Same young male that was playing tug of war with DM over a warthog earlier, and @Tr1x24 commented how big he is. His dad is enormous to begin with, reminds me of how BYM was when around the same age, and Big Boy Mengheni too. This youngster certainly doesn't lack for spirit.
