Isn't he the oldest known living Tusker in India?
I have been looking for a image of him for some time, I saw a few a while back but couldn't find it again.

In regards to Baikal, was it ever determined if the Baikal killed by the 2 younger males was the same male who weighed 850lbs at age 12?

The Baikal killed by the two youngsters was a normal specimen, not the giant Baikal.

Ok, just because I think they are from the same zoo?

The email saying he weighed 850lbs and was transferred to the Assinboine Zoo

"Baikal had lived at the Assiniboine Park Zoo for over five years before he was killed Thursday."

Is it just a coincidence or could they be one and the same?

RE: Freak Specimens - GrizzlyClaws - 08-12-2015

There are definitely more than one tiger named Baikal in that zoo.

Maybe we shall call @Kingtheropod to clarify it again.

RE: Freak Specimens - Pckts - 08-12-2015

It also said the baikal that was killed was on "loan from the toronto zoo"

When a man is dumb, he is definitely dumb... And, very often, the wild animal has to endure the consequences.

Freakishly dangerous elephant going mad.
I feel sorry for the two guys sitting on top of the elephant.
