Definitely, so far, the Red road male is doing incredibly well.(10-21-2021, 02:02 AM)Timbavati Wrote: A Manyeleti UPDATE! RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tonpa - 10-21-2021 Description says 20 lions, so maybe an Imbali lioness RE: Lions of Manyeleti - T I N O - 10-21-2021 Correction: It was the Imbali male and not the Red road male. My mistaken guys. Sorry RE: Lions of Manyeleti - T I N O - 10-21-2021 The Red road male and the Nharu pride showing a bit of agression towards him featured in The Virtual Safari 221 Screenshot from: The Virtual Safari *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Cunaguaro - 10-22-2021 A breathtaking shot that only happens once in a lifetime, especially for those who are lucky. Two white wild lions out of three around the whole world in one picture. Ngala PGR, South Africa. Photographer Credit: To follow & prints: @theroanlife RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 10-22-2021 That submissive behavior of RRM towards that female is not good sign, yes i know he is injured, but in this state he is no use for them, females now see him only as burden who follow them and eat their food, they have nothing in return, no protection, as he currently doesnt look like dominant male in the area.. Hope after few meals RRM regain his strenght, start roaring and show this females that he is still the boss, otherwise he will become nomadic, and if that limp doesnt get better, he wont survive much longer in nomadic life.. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tonpa - 10-22-2021 RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tonpa - 10-23-2021 LIONS OF THE MLUWATI CONCESSION: The Hamiltons Pride: This pride has been very bush around Hamiltons Tented Camp, using the last of the remaining water around Hamiltons to hunt. They have managed to pull down more than six buffalo, impala, and even zebra around the various thickets surrounding the water. The Talamati Breakaway Pride: This beautiful pride has spent much time around Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge and around the Western Cutline, moving from water source to water source. They managed to pull down an adult male buffalo, yet after more than an hour and a half, they had not managed to kill it. This drew the attention of two large male lions who killed the buffalo and chased the females away. The Imbali Pride, the Torchwood Pride, and the Talamati Pride: These three prides have all been making sporadic appearances around the KNP Corner and Bemmer Plains. Some nomadic males have also been walking through the Concession in various areas, using this as an easy shortcut to get where they are finally wanting to be without staying on the Concession for too long. https://imbali.com/mluwati-concession-september-2021/ RE: Lions of Manyeleti - T I N O - 10-23-2021 (10-22-2021, 09:33 PM)Tonpa Wrote: The Imbali/S8 male with three of the Talamati females RE: Lions of Manyeleti - T I N O - 10-23-2021 Great update regarding the lions of the Mluwati region @Tonpa BTW my friend, The Talamati breakaway pride seen in Mluwati concession has split-up from the main pride in 2008? Maybe they split when Matimbas took over, but I dont know much about Talamati pride’s history RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tonpa - 10-23-2021 Yeah I've heard something similar, that they split from the Talamatis when the Avocas came. Shame we don't have any clear captioned pictures of them |
