So did the Mantimahle's oust the Kambula boys already? As usual Mathimale bloodline keeps messing Kambula's plans up Kambulas are double the numbers, healthy, and big, but are never what we expect from males like them in these situations Crazy to think that only Torchwood, K1 and K2 become dominant males so far from the Birmingham coalition legacy I know that they dont own us nothing, neither have to correspond to out expectations, but I'm starting to find all these situations with them quite comical in a way that they have everything to succeed but something makes them not to or delay that Even more when many people are like " These are Mapogo, Majingalane and Birmingham blood, they will be the real deal" Only to end up doing Kambula things, wich its starting to become quite the trademark and If you as me that makes it more interesting, how many times do we see the same story over and over again Grow up, become nomad, Control a Pride/s, sire cubs, get ousted or die in a takeover Kambulas and Nkuhuma are having a different life style and I cant say nothing bad about it RE: Nkuhuma Pride - KM600 - 10-28-2024 Honestly Kambulas got the better of Mantimahles one time (multiple of the K4 chasing solo DM Mantimahle) and since then Mantimahle sons have started applying pressure. They chased the K4 off a big meal and then went into Manyeleti around that time too, I always thought the fact they went into Manyeleti had something to do with following the K4 up there. I wouldn’t say just cos the Mantimhale sons are with Little Amber means they’ve chased off the Kambulas, BDM was seen with Nkuhuma Pride this morning too. Seems quite clear tho that K4 (Kambula 4 abbrevaition to avoid confusion) still don’t view this as their own territory but are fine with all the mating that comes with it and the odd roaring, until they get challenged. I’d like for these boys to give Manyeleti a real shot if they were to get beat over control of Nkuhuma Pride as the southern parts, especially on the Sabi Sands boundary, are real low with male lion activity. They’d be able to sweep that up pretty quickly. Not much later the Kambulas went into Manyeleti the Mantimahles started going there more often than ever and as we know the Kambulas eventually came back. They can return to Manyeleti eventually and maybe just got done mating with Imbalis but i think Mantimahles could've something to do with it. Also the beating K3 got recently, we'll likely never know from who but the most likely would be Mantimahle or perhaps Kruger male(?). Anyways im not going to keep theorizing things, I just mentioned those I think are possibly "guilty", but what matters is that K3 is 100% again. Nature is unpredictable and last time they got in touch with Nharu pride, Red Road and the lioness gave them a good fight before being overwhelmed by the numerical advantage of males and fleeing. What prides are there in Manyeleti? Mbiri, ruled by Mandevu and his backup Jr Nharu, ruled by the notorious Red Road whatelse? Manyeleti would be the best option for everyone, genetic wise not so good for the Nharus but so it isnt with the Nkuhumas In terms of coalitions roaming there you got Mandevu and Orpen JR ( I think they are no challange for Kambulas) Red Road ( if they put real pressure its a matter of time like they did with Kruger Male ) Torchwood young males ( too young to do anything I want believe) If Osilinde and Torchwood decide to go to Manyeleti, if something doesnt change with the Kambulas, they will run from their uncle and half brother Mbiri males the same situation above And I risk to say that even the young Monwana males are confident enough to chase Kambulas ( even tho that in a fight Kambulas might win ( as of right now) 9/10 Times) RE: Nkuhuma Pride - NLAL11 - 10-28-2024 Little Amber's injuries. Cedric seems pretty sure she has lost her eye. Either way she's been properly beat up. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: Nkuhuma Pride - NLAL11 - 10-28-2024 She was mating with the bigger/lighter-maned Mantimahtle male as well, although I doubt she'll conceive as I imagine she's incredibly stressed and is mating with the male out of self-preservation. I have to agree with one of the WildEarth viewers, it kinda feels like she was kidnapped. Hope the Kambulas drive them off, though that might be some heavy wishful thinking. Always believed that there would be another Nkuhuma breakaway formed, maybe we’re just starting to see it. A breakaway of the 2021 litter would be a shame, but not surprising considering everything that's happened. I really hope we don't see any more splintering than that though, like lone lionesses breaking off on their own.
