Mala mala confirmed that scar nose majingilane is mating with one of the kambula females. this mean that the majingilanes are mating with their daughters as kambulas are daughters of majingilanes.

the fact of the majingilane males start to mate with their own daughters of kambula pride show us as these males are very much sucessfull. they just not fall to any other coalition. that is unbelieveble. straight to the 8 year kingdom.

Don't exaggerate them. There's no need to and it sounds just as silly as when it's done to other coalitions.

In my next to last submission highlighting our South African safari, I present to you a series on the "King of the Beasts." There are several prides and coalitions in Mala Mala that are presently all jockeying for dominance and position. Unlike lions seen in zoos with their beautiful manes and clean pristine faces, these lions have heavily scarred faces that reflect the difficult and often hostile life they lead in their struggle to survive while fighting off competitors. The older the lion, the more you can see the struggles of his life all over his face. The wild is not easy on these animals and being able to observe them in the wild is eye-opening.

i mean 8 years old ruling a territory is too much for a coalition as the male lions usually have just 2 years old of average territory control.

more than 7 years

That is what was usually said in documentaries, and is partially wrong, particularly when it comes to large coalitions.

The Mapogo males reached 6+ years of dominance, the Notch males about the same time, the Musketeer males have been dominant for at least 5 years I think.

So an extended dominance time is something to take note of, but it doesn't make them unbeatable, and certainly doesn't make them "better" than others.

I see that you like them, so do I. But over here we try to keep a balanced view of the lions without pretending one is way better than others so if I was you I'd try to temper those statements that border on fanatism a bit.

Thanks.
