RE: Lions of Sabi Sands - NLAL11 - 11-21-2023 (11-20-2023, 08:11 PM)KM600 Wrote:(11-20-2023, 07:48 PM)NLAL11 Wrote:(11-20-2023, 03:52 PM)KM600 Wrote: Seen a comment on YouTube yesterday saying the Kambula breakaways are easily the most impressive upcoming coalition in Sabi Sands at the moment and I’m not so sure that’s true. From a pure looks standpoint Yh they look better than the Talamati and Nkuhuma YMs but that’s mainly due to them being older. The Nkuhuma YMs despite being younger seem to be more territorial already albeit having Mohawk as a father figure prolly makes a huge difference. The Kambula males have been seeing roaring around Londolozi an area that isn’t under full control by any coalition/male, Skorro YM controls part of it but that’s one male, the Nkuhuma YMs look to be challenging the BDMs at such a young age, imo that’s way more impressive. Also worth noting the Kambula males seem to be fine with the size of the coalition with no real effort to increase the number despite being around males who could seriously help them, that being Nkuhuma Male and Talamati YMs. The Nkuhuma YMs seem to be more accepting of possibly increasing the size of the coalition, it’s not set in stone there will only be four members in the coalition, 5 if u include Mohawk. I'm gonna have to disagree I'm afraid. The Kambulas have been nomadic for a while now. And though they haven't moved that far away, they've been without the safety of a pride, any fathers or a territory for them to be in. They've had a go at taking on other males (Nkuhuma) and they've also had a run in with other males that didn't go so well for them (K3 and the Gjimas). Both experiences will have been extremely valuable for them. The Kambulas also chased the Nkuhumas not too long ago. Of the two coalitons, which one can you most easily imagine taking on a serious territorial coalition, such as the PC Males? I know which one I can, and it's not the Nkuhuma young males. I think if they tried to do that, they're scattering, leaving one of the more 'ready' members of the coalition to be killed, Mohawk or Ridge Nose's son, for example. Or one of the younger guys is getting caught and killed. At the end of the day they are a whole year younger, more in the case of Chela's son, and that makes a big difference. At the end of the day, neither of us knows what's going to happen with these two coalitions both at the beginning of their adult journeys. But I disagree with which one looks more 'impressive'. The PCM question doesn’t really make sense because I think we can both confidently say both coalitions lose that fight rn if the PCMs are together, although Kambulas would prolly hold their own better. The Kambulas going at Nkuhuma Male doesn’t really change my opinion on them tbh plus the Nkuhuma YMs haven’t had any solo males that they can show the same dominance over and that’s if they were to even view them as a threat or I guess as a pest in the case the Kambulas viewed Nkuhuma Male. Skorro YM has territory in Londolozi yet the Kambulas have done nothing to him and now he has Tsalala lioness as a solo male. Kambulas have ventured into the West several times but never stick around, Nkuhuma YMs in recent days have been letting everyone know they’re in Djuma area. ‘Safety of a pride’ isn’t the same way I feel about the Nkuhuma Pride rn, infact I’d argue they’ve had an even bigger target on their back staying with the pride plus it’s not like they’re still relying on them for food, they seem to be great hunters and u can see that with the condition they’re currently in. RE: Lions of Sabi Sands - NLAL11 - 11-22-2023 WildEarth Sunset Safari from today (lions from 22:24 - 40:42). Mohawk & Sons Ltd. Amber Eyes' daughter is still with them. RE: Lions of Sabi Sands - KM600 - 11-22-2023 Could for sure be the Talamati YMs he’s calling as LionLovers on twitter just confirmed the brothers have been seen back together after getting chased by the Nwaswitshakas and were in Londolozi as of yesterday. Obviously this male is still in a very good condition but it’s nice seeing them and being able to see how big they truly are. Either Ndhzengas or Kambula breakaways, would make sense if they picked up on the scent of the Kambula breakaways and followed them into Londolozi. Ik they do have territory in Londolozi but this happened Northern Londolozi.
