@Roflcopters he looks massive.
And you're right, he has seen many Kahna, Mukki zone big boys and for him to say Kingfisher is the largest is good enough for me, Kingfisher is officially the king of Mukki zone. Plus hes just hitting his prime, estimated age is 6, he should be quite the show stopper for some time.
Kahna is nothing but big fellas all over the place, it is quickly becoming one of my favorite sights for large male tiger images.

Encountered a beast called 'bheem' this evening, he kept on coming and we kept on reversing. Almost after 35mins. when he saw forest guard on bike and person on foot he vanished in bamboo ticket! Glad to see him fit & fine Naren Malik

Has bheema of Kahna been collared?

Bheema gave us a beuatifully pleasant surprise, as it walked towards us and then quietly follwed us on the road. It let us take pictures especially stopping to do territory marking and also to have sip of water on the puddle formed by the recent rain. Check his muscles and be mesmerized. Staying at a distance we could manage fairly good angle with the 400mm lens. — with Lalit Deshmukh.

Also this picture posted by you is Kingfisher himself, what a powerful specimen.
Edit: I just realized the 197kg male is actually Kankatta and not Bheema, after looking at the mataki tags and comparing it to the one Kankatta has. it is a perfect match.

@Roflcopters thanks for the link, they estimated the female to be 130kg and the male was measured and weighed 197kg at the time of capture.
Add another new weight to the list, good job in finding it.

@Roflcopters such absolutely amazing set of pictures of that fight, thank you very much for sharing them. It is amazing to see the size of those arms.
This is the first time I see so many pics of that fight, prior to this I had only seen one picture and the short video that showed the fight(in all honesty it only seemed a mild confrontation, the kind that is decided after many confrontation just at that one). But it's great nonetheless.

That fight was one of the better ones caught on film imo.
They continue it when the go into the dense jungle, you just can't film them inside there.
Tigers seem to travel far distance while they fight, fighting for a minute or two, then displaying and sizing each other up, maybe resting, then they begin to fight again. They do this until one has had enough or a death blow is given.
At least from what I've seen....

you might wanna do a side profile comparison with the first pic its clear to me that's not T34 and i dont see why T8 would try to fight off the father and protector of her cubs especially since one off their cubs were was killed mostlikely by the very male in the pics

It is not possible to guess who is feaured of whom. I guess a life time shot. Can any of you tell the ID of this tiger or tigress ?
