RE: The Tumbela Coalition - Mwk85 - 08-09-2023 Seen with the Ximhungwes again. PC males were in the area as well but he managed to avoid them. Edit: Diff posted on his FB page about the sighting and he is seen walking on the leg that has been bothering him. Doesn't appear that he's putting full weight on it yet, but his movement is significantly greater than some of the previous sightings. Lying on that particular hip for an extended amount of time is more than likely what aggravates the old injury thus causing the heavy limping. *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: The Tumbela Coalition - Mwk85 - 08-14-2023 With the Ximhungwes. They're resting on the bank. Glad they got a shot of him walking, seems to be walking better than he was, that is good. RE: The Tumbela Coalition - Mwk85 - 08-15-2023 Back on his own now. Guess the PC's moved back closer to the Ximhungwes. RE: The Tumbela Coalition - criollo2mil - 08-19-2023 The Last Tumbela. Not sure when taken. With the recent rumors that Gingerella has possible had her cubs, I really hope Tumbela figures out to just leave the este and give this pride sone peace and stability. RE: The Tumbela Coalition - Tonpa - 08-30-2023 Tumbela and what looks like the Ximhungwe female in slide 4-5 RE: The Tumbela Coalition - BA0701 - 08-30-2023 (08-30-2023, 01:39 AM)Tonpa Wrote: Tumbela and what looks like the Ximhungwe female in slide 4-5 I wish he'd find himself a more suitable pride, one that doesn't have such massive beasts guarding over them. So strange how the Ximungwes continue to draw so many different males to them, and to allow them to linger. Maybe they are trying to play the long game, and keep all of those males from killing their cubs, but it hasn't helped so far. RE: The Tumbela Coalition - Duco Ndona - 08-30-2023 The Ximhungwes are a borderpride of the PCmales. So that means the PCmales are a lot of time to far away from them to protect them properly from rival males like Skorro. But the pride can't move closer to the PCmales core territory to avoid clashes with the Mhangeni etc which is how prides usually resolve such issues. The pride alse lacks the strenght and numbers to chase Skorro of themselves so they have no other option than the placate him aswell. Resulting in the current situation. There likely is no long con on the Ximhungwes end aside from hoping that one day the PCmales will permanently get Skorro out of their hair. So they finally will have the stable enviroment needed to raise cubs. RE: The Tumbela Coalition - Mapokser - 08-30-2023 Happy to see Tumbela in good condition, but the fact he's hanging out with Ximhungwe increase the chances the cubs either got killed or will get killed. This pride is under a lot of trouble, if they can't raise any new cubs, and with an ageing female who has a limp which sometimes is fine and sometimes bad, suddenly they might see themselves in trouble in 2 years from now, as the Nkuhuma female will have her daughter potentially son for a while, and if Othawas survive, they'll also be 2 to compete with them. RE: The Tumbela Coalition - BigLion39 - 09-18-2023 Poor Scorro Jr. He for sure lost a lot of mass, but that is his bad side, correct? The bad leg/hip is the side facing the camera, right? Hope he can recover soon, he's in no shape to outrun prime territorial males. They'll get him eventually. Shit they might even not bother with him if he keeps loosing condition. |
