RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - BA0701 - 10-23-2024 (10-23-2024, 06:28 PM)Rui Ferreira Wrote:(10-23-2024, 05:36 PM)Robot00 Wrote: How is everyone able to find these coalitions from the KNP back in the days but no one seems to know where Othawa M/T disappeared to? I thought there's a lot of lodges in the south of KNP? Those guides must know something about Othawa M/T Exactly, there is a lot of these areas in Kruger. But, if anyone could find pics of them, my money would be on our friend @Ahmed Ali. He must be scouring the farthest reach of the web, for the pics he comes up with. As i remember, i asked my question here about their status sometime one year ago at this time - and it was the last time from me - and even then there were no news about them for months at the time... What a shame for these beautiful guys..they were one of my favourites with their very impressive special manes... Especially, if - as you said - they also became the victims of poaching incidents. And as i think, it simply could be the subject, because 3 (4) big heathy vigorous and powerful males at the beginning of their prime don't/canNOT (just) disappear at the same time, from one moment to the next. So this could just be another tragedy...
