Are they brothers of the original 5 or their two sons up north?

im not entirely sure where would be appropriated topic to post on these boys. They reside and are territorial somewhere in Kruger right, so that should be the topic?

@kobe8jf1234 yes, there are a bunch of footage with 5 of them together, all accounted for, early in the year 2 different people saw all 6 together.

To add to what Brahim mentioned, Tank was not in good shape in his last sightings. He was definitely sick with something, looking frail and thin. A shell of his former self. Unfortunate he probably succumb or ran into other males.

Apparently they didn't learn from their mistake last time with the last male mpondo
The Mjejane pride was relocated to the north and according to reports from a young male member of the pride who was just 2 years old, he was left behind, this is something to evaluate, it is not the first time something like this has occurred in this area.

This is insanity. They should be well aware by now that northern kruger is a poaching and poisoning hotspot and that needs to be dealt with first!

I wholeheartedly believe that they're fully aware of the issues, that's why they send "problem" lions there. Allows them to figuratively keep their hands clean when it comes to said type of lions. It's sad that they'll do this instead of addressing the issue of the fencing which allowed the Mjejane Pride to get out in the first place. Jock Safari has scrubbed their social media pages of all content related to the matter and has taken to deleting comments left by anyone asking about the subject.

RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Tr1x24 - 08-17-2024

Lets not point fingers at Jock guys (or any other ones who deal with these issues), as this problem is really hard to solve in a correct way, and they want best solution, just like us.

We discuss this before, these lions needs to be relocated away from this area, as they are escaping Kruger and are threat to human community near by, where they will be killed or kill someone otherwise.

As for fixing fences, these guys are not responsible for that, yet whole Kruger National Park. Maintaining hundreds km of fences regulary is prob really hard and expensive.

As for relocating north, yes, area proves to be dangerous for lions, but population of lions is very low, so from that standpoint is the best area to relocate lions. You cant just dump 5-10 lions in others lions territory.

RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Ttimemarti - 08-17-2024

But the reason that area up north has no lions is because they are killed and poisoned they are sending them to the north to die literally!!!
