I know early reports were they suspected it was ‘ male’ RE: Birmingham Pride of lions - Mapokser - 08-18-2023 Iirc it's confirmed as a male, but I might be wrong. The cub is still very small but he does look like Shaka. Actually, it's quite hard to see the resemblance of this cub with Shaka at this point, he is still too small... RE: Birmingham Pride of lions - Mapokser - 08-22-2023 The white cub loves hanging out with his fathers, doesn't he? If the 2 Mbiris can hold for 3 more years they'll have the longest reign ever and be up there among the most sucessful coalitions. I do hope they can reign long enough to raise these cubs, at the least. I have always sort of viewed the Mbiris as wanderers, never staying with one group for very long, though this time they seem to have settled in quite well, and it is really good to see. @"Timbavati" all of these photos are fantastic, I love them, kudos to the photographer! |
