I hope he and his brother were able to raise some offspring. He was a handsome and impressive male as he weighed 247kg ( though he had some 10kg of stomach content ). Yea, that bigger maned H7 male looked impressive and huge, even more then Mbiris on those chase photos. They where not often seen, but popped here and there on H7, but sightings pretty much stoped since Mayambulas started to hang in that area last year. Looks like only his brother/partner was seen recently, but not sure on his status, he doesnt look in best shape. These guys are not young, prob atleast 10, so maybe just age caught with them RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - kobe8jf1234 - 03-14-2024 (03-13-2024, 05:07 PM)Brahimlegend Wrote: Kruger/Torchwood pride male. is he alone now or he still colation partner with 4 ways brothers ? His partner is still around? Haven't heard of him in a long time. I don't think we can compare them from the photos available, as they are far from each other and from the back: ![]() *This image is copyright of its original author The photographer claimed all 4 were huge: ![]() *This image is copyright of its original author But anyway the weight in the scale doesn't lie, the missing H7 male was indeed huge. RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Mapokser - 03-16-2024 Birmingham pride with the larger Mbiri male: ![]() *This image is copyright of its original author ![]() *This image is copyright of its original author ![]() *This image is copyright of its original author I think this is the first sighting of Scar in peak condition since the video of the Mbiris on Manyeleti late last year. Soon after Shaka was badly injured and throughout the last months, Scar also showed up with injuries and they were always seen only in ok to good condition, never in top form like we were used to, but here I think Scar has his bulkiness again: ![]() *This image is copyright of its original author ![]() *This image is copyright of its original author Let's hope his brother shows up in top shape again too, I remember a photo of him where he might have been in top shape but he was lying down so it's hard to judge. Not sure if that thing on his belly is affecting him somehow but hopefully he recovers all his mighty. They are only 10, so just now entering old age, they should be able to maintain a condition close to their prime as long as they are healthy. If these Mbiris can hold for at least 2 more years they'll reach 9 years as dominant males, their Birmingham cubs will be independent and close to adulthood, and they'll leave a massive legacy behind, with many offspring on the Mayambula, Skorro and Birmingham prides.
