Prob no, Ndhzengas control mostly east and south side of Londolozi.

Ok. They share a boundary now then. Ndhzenga’s have a large territory to oversee, so a confrontation might be unlikely.

Londolozi is a bit of a no lions area bordering 4 territories. So each time you hear of a group of lions hanging out there. You can safely assume they are on the very edge of their territory.

Mohawk's mouth looks very swollen. Hoppefully it is not the same issue which lead to demise of Orpen male.

If I recall correctly, I believe they had said Junior's corpse tested positive for anthrax. Though I'm not sure if that is something that occurs naturally in the wild or must be introduced through some other means.

It occurs naturally, its some sort of bacteria, but in the wild not as spread as TB.

If you search on google, anthrax and lions, you will find that cases like Junior's are not as rare as we think..

Yes Junior NK died of Anthrax from what his autopsy said. Naturally occurring in Kruger unfortunately.  I found a great article on Google about it and specifically lions. Mohawk doesn't appear to have signs of anthrax from what I can see, IMHO, but I'm not expert, at all.

THE NKUHUMA PRIDE = 20

Members of this pride were seen on 11 days in August. More and more, we are seeing them moving as a unit of 18. The two oldest lionesses have broken away from the pride and are now territorial in the western section of the Sabi Sands Nature Reserve. They have had one litter of cubs with the Plains Camp Males. Therefore, we will start to refer to these lions as the Nkuhuma Break Away Pride from next month, and they will not be reported under this section.

Noteworthy sightings:
• Four lionesses, seven cubs and all seven sub-adults were with the Northern Avoca males at Mlowathi Dam on the 2nd.
• The group mentioned above was found sharing a buffalo kill east of Matumi Rocks on the 15th. They remained in the area the following day.
• On the 18th, the sub-adults and one lioness were around Tlebe Rocks.
• The three lionesses and seven cubs had a failed attempt at an impala hunt around the Sausage Spot on the 24th.
