That’s a small caiman if it’s actually a black one, that’d definitely be a youngster. I’m also not even sure it’s actually a Black Caiman or not since no location is reported and it’s upside down.

Is it true that black caimans have deep skulls compared to American alligator?
What does deep skulls mean? And how do crocs have more bite force when they have narrow snout in comparison to Gators?

It's a bloated yacare caiman in the Pantanal dragged by a female jaguar. Indeed it would be a small black caiman otherwise.

Exhausted, it remains immobile and several measurements are quickly taken. The caiman that Monday night is 11 feet four inches long and weighs 346 kilos. Trussed and still, it is a little smaller that the largest one ever tagged at Yupukari which was over 12 feet long.
I personally think he meant 346 pounds.
