More from the Tsalalas venture into Lion Sands. The shape of the head and nose of the boy in the last shot reminds me of Dark Mane. In the same set of shots the photographer captured the southern Avoca Boys, so fireworks may be imminent. Seems to me that they would be fairly evenly matched. @Herekitty :

About #94: beautiful, the second photo seen from behind ! The lion's body seems to be made of stone, sculptural...

RE: Majingilane sons - Mohawk4 - 11-21-2018

I love Tsalala males because they are allways together....
If they ll make their move to take over a pride/Territory which coalition is near?
South Avoca males?

RE: Majingilane sons - Potato - 11-21-2018

Southern Avocas are terrytorial in Southern Sabi Sands however there is not much to take beside 2 Spart lionesses. There is also large Sand River pride nearby, but it is controlled by Mantimahles so... beyond Tsalalas capabilities.

This hungry young male lion tried to dig out a warthog out of its burrow, but after a while of digging he decided to rather wait out the warthog.

Mhangeni boy hanging around with the Southrn pride....
The odds are against him/them(Damn Mange) but he/they is/are a survivor(s)
Respect to Mhangeni Boys!

As far as I know the sons of other coalitions are not in the area where we can have access to reports (Except Matimbas)
Matimbas sons are doing exceptionally well as dominant males

Junior & Mbiris are dominant and we regularly see reports about them (In Lions of Timbavati thread most likely)

Talamatis (The reports of them are also not available, as they are somewhere in kruger)
May be the Torchwood male is with Fourways

Notches have too many descendants dominant in Mara

Musketeers are 4, I am not aware of any of their sons independent and dominant (Except a coalition of 3 males)
