In his prime, Skorro Jr was an average sized male lion, as he remains today as well, but a stunningly beautiful one. Between him and his brother, I always felt that Scar had the chance to become the most impressive of them, he was just never able to reach his potential due to illness. In the beginning Scar was the most dominant of the three. Limper was dealing with illness and injury most of his time with the Othawa Pride, and always appeared, to me, to be the smallest of them all. It is unknown which of the Tumbelas sired the two cubs, it would be between Scar and Skorro Jr, as I don't recall Limper having been seen mating, but in the beginning it was Scar who dominated the mating. Tumbelas also have Matimba genes, as their mothers (Bboys sisters) are daughters of Matimbas sisters (Birmingham pride) and Old Birmingham males. Birmingham old male lions are fathers of the mothers of Tumbela male lions? No, it was the Thanda Impi coalition, Skorro and Sizanani, he was saying that the Tumbelas mothers were sisters of the Birminghams, and daughters of the Matimbas sisters and the old Birminghams. Ok that makes sense Matimba male lions came from Birmingham. lion who was called Tinyo similar to Harry belly Matimba. RE: Othawa Pride - Mapokser - 12-02-2024 More than any small amount of Matimba/Okd Skybed blood in these Othawas, is the fact Othawa males usually develop very fast with big manes. If the Breakaway female who has both Othawa and Matimba blood were to have a PCM sob, then chances were he would be a beautiful beast. Hairy belly, Tinyo and Zigzag Mbiri all have that amazingly unique mane with big elbow pouffs.I wonder if they all have the same mother? I almost wrote Skorro Thanda Impi, but Sizanani's genes might very likely get passed on through Othawas as well, as we can only guess who exactly sired whom (both in case Tumbelas and these generation of Othawas). And as Skorro and Sizanani were not closely related (unrelated but who really is in closed ecosystem) than any of their two "looks" might (partially) pop out in future Othawa's generations. |
