@Rage2277

I was following the youtube discussions and looks like we were wrong about the Kauva Ghatia male this whole time, the pics of Kauva Ghatia that were circulating over the internet was indeed the Sathiana male. I can’t believe i didn’t catch this sooner. were you aware of this?

RE: The Terai Tiger - Rage2277 - 09-26-2022

there are three males i know of so far moving around in the sathiyanna range including the individual you're talking about which i too recently found out was in that area kauvia gatia must be another area that individual frequents aswell @Roflcopters

so it’s just like the 2017/2018 - zone 1 days where 4 males were seen in the same area. Scissor, Charger, Rhino Killer and Gulrighat. later towards the end of the year. only Gulrighat remained.

also did you hear about the incident involving the male that was accidentally caught and radio-collared, he killed a 14 year old boy a few days ago.

@Roflcopters,  talking of tiger attack, it seems a similar attack also happened near Gondia/Bhandara area in Maharashtra earlier this week. A man was killed in the attack, the tiger has been identified as CT-I.
Are you aware of any tiger by that ID?

RE: The Terai Tiger - Roflcopters - 09-27-2022

@DaveB

unfortunately, I don’t know much about this CT1 male of Brahmapuri FD. I’ve been hearing about him in the news but that’s about it.

RE: The Terai Tiger - Ashutosh - 09-30-2022

@DaveB and @Roflcopters the tiger called CT1 is highly elusive and moves between Brahmapuri Forest Division and Ghadchiroli Forest Division in Central India near Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. He is allegedly responsible for 10 human deaths and this is the only picture of him as yet and this was captured via drone monitoring:
