MALAMALA TODAY: Lions: The Matshapiri male is back! He spent the day in the Sand River south of Rattray’s Camp. 5 of the lioness from the Kambula pride and 3 of the Gowrie males were viewed near West Street Bridge. The 6th Kambula lioness was feeding on a kill near her den in the Rock Drift Donga. Leopards: Great news today as the daughter of the Kikilezi has reappeared! She was seen in the vicinity of the 6th Kambula lioness.

Looks like third Lioness also has given birth.. I hope at least this litter survives...
Already 2 litters lost (One from Matimbas killed by likely Matshapiris or lost due to floods .. atleast 2 lionesses have given birth during 2017 new year, another litter from Matshapiris lost to Avocas likely, atleast 3 lionesses have given birth..)
Now nobody knows who sired the current cubs.. hope BBoys accept the current litter. (More than likely they are not fathers...)

Positive thing is all 4 BBoys mated with Kambulas.. I think now except Nhnena all are in attendance (Nhena is busy mating with Amber eyes of Nkuhumas)
Nsuku rarely spent time with Kambulas as he mostly tend to spend time with Styx pride..

MALAMALA TODAY: January 25th&26th.
Lions: The lioness from the Kambula pride who has 3 cubs in the Rock Drift Donga was viewed in the vicinity of her den on both days. A second Kambula lioness was seen near Rattray’s Camp. The Gowrie male with the scar under is eye has switched with one of his brothers and he is now mating with the youngest lioness from Marthly pride- she was seen alone yesterday at Sand Pit Crossing. A lioness was viewed in the Sand River in front of Main Camp today but visual was not good enough to identify her.
