When I see images like this, I wish we had more options on the "Like" button. The video of her, after the attack by the Birminghams is one of those that just sticks with me, horrible stuff, absolutely heartbreaking.

It was the arrival of the Majingilane that caused all the trouble.
Both prides were hit hard during the Mapogo era and conflicts were already occurring during the Selati era. So I wouldn't say they were coexisting.

From what I’ve learned when Mr T died the othawa pride was all mapogo 3 girls 2 boys the last older female died by a snare and the ximhungwe pride was still a pretty big pride other than the one female that was also killed by a snare but they lost members fast

The girls are still going. They have to be nearing estrus don't they? I worry about them so much with the Ximungs moving down into the area they've been hiding in for so long. I hope it doesn't lead to another incident, injury, and separation...

Thats hard to predict, some females came to estrus even before 3 yrs, some quite later, even after 5.

I am convinced the PCMs are hoping to mate with them. If you visit Savanna Private Game Reserve's Instagram page, one of the videos shows both PCMs interacting with an Othawa lioness, she lashes out at them but they don't attack her back. I suspect they're in estrus.
I'd attach the video but it's an Instagram story and frankly I'm not sure how to embed videos.

Now would be the perfect time for them to go into estrus, but at 3 years and 3 months old they're probably not there yet.
Southern subs entered estrus way before that tho so who knows.
