Styx are in Chitwa Chitwa
Also I see you added Manyeleti so lets put something into it :)
Talamati pride is with Northen Avoca Males on the south of Manyeleti, around Buffelshoek I think.
Mbiri Pride and Nharu are I think around Tintswalo Game Lodge
Ximughwe pride is in Singita
Tsalala/Marthly males were seen recently at Lion Sands GR

That last may be very intrested considering there are also Charleston and Avoca males.

PS Where did you get Information about Mfumo got back Torchwood?

Thx for the info.

Ximughwe Pride has another name?

If Tsalala/Marthly males form a big coalition of 5 males with 2 south Avoca males they will be unstoppable.

I don't know about any other call for Ximughwe pride. About Tsalalas and Avocas I think confrontation is far more likely than forming 1 coalition from 2.
They’re not half brothers are they? It’s hard to believe they would bond to form 1.

By the way, thanks to whoever builds and update that map. It’s so helpful

No, they are uunrelated. Also Southern Avocas has now cubs to defend since one of the lioness of Sparta pride gave birth.

What comes to map:
- It seems like sadly  only 5 Mhangeni subs stayed alive.
- 3 Tsalalas are going back into Kruger.
- Mantimahle males are starting to push more into MalaMala. Possibly there can be confrontation between them and Southern Avocas. In therir steps are going Sand River Pride looking for protection of their dominant males.
- I think Mathsapiri male shouldnn't be on the map at all since noone knows where he is or even if he is still alive and specially not in the place he is puted now. It is distracting because it may look like he is still dominant over Foreways pride which is untrue.

Matshapiri male like mfuno like charleston males like mantimahle are out of map because anybody know where are they.
Mantinmahle males never push to sabi sands until now. They, like Charleston males only make incursions into the Sabi Sands and return to KNP. When they are established in Sabi Sands I will put them into the map.
Many people say only 5 mhangeni subs stayed alive. Other people say there are 6 alive. Other people say that they split in 2 coalitions. The informacion is actually confuse. When I know really what happen i put correctly in the map theirs situation and number of them.
Fourways pride disappeared a time of Sabi Sands like Matshapiri male. (Both was out the map until now) Fourways pride has been seen in Mala Mala recently and that's why I put it on the map but not the Matshapiri male.

Yeah, it looks like I have been too hasty. However what comes to "mantimahle are out of map because nobody* know where are they" we actually know where they are. I mean there are no regular sightings of them, but we can assuume that theey are more than less with Sand River pride, right there where they are on map right now. Situation with Mhangenis are indeed very confuse. About month ago they were seen in the south in numbers of 7. Recently 5 of them were seen in londolozi with another one lying a bit away in very bad condition. Now 2 Mhangeni (Dark Mane and Big Boy) were seen in Sabi Sabi.

Perhaps you could think about ading also Timbavati. It would be great to follow teritory of young, powerfull Mbiris :)
Btw there is also third Mhangeni joined Nkuhumas. Around Naharu and Mbiri prides are 3 old Avoca/Girafe males.

Mapogos, near 80% of sabi sands, Maginji no compares to Mapogos

The Mapogo males had a very large territory. They were spread very thin, and it was difficult to defend, although it wasn't noticed as much because of the relative low competition they had, at least until the Majingilane came.

The Majingilane males, as a comparison, had a territory of similar size, but the difference is that they didn't govern it in one go. Being only four males, they had to be more careful and preferred to have a somewhat smaller territory, but easier to manage, to defend and patrol.

Hi everyone.
So I’m new. Did my first sabi sand safari in September for my honeymoon and have become obsessed.
While I was there we ran into the styx torch wood and nkhuma pride. (Only3 mangy) males.
I believe the BBoys controlled these prides?
Is that still the case. Our guide said they may have left to go into Krueger as they weren’t seen for awhile.

Welcome, that's great. Maybe you can post some pictures of your trip to S. Africa and the Wildlife you spotted if you were able to take any?

Will do for sure!
So who are all the big boys now in Sabi? I have a lot of catching up to do. Have become obsessed with Lions now.
Are the bboys still there and 5?
Ottawa pride done?

RE: Maps of Sabi Sand Coalitions Males and Prides - Potato - 11-08-2018

BBoys moved south into Londolozi in search for new females to mate with. From about half a year they are fully focused on Ntsevu pride. As come to their numbers they were coalition of 5 at their beggining. Since then Scraper died (probably buffalo hunt go wrong) and about 3 months ago leader of the coalition Mfumo disappeared withoout any trace ( possible pouched). By now 3 BBoys left (as you can see on the map).
