RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - chaos - 11-22-2014 ~~absence of evidence isn't similar to evidence of absence. A simple, yet profound statement. RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - chaos - 11-22-2014 Here's another interesting article on the topic of potential Bigfoot dna~~Bigfoot DNA Tests Prove Hairy Creature Exists, Genetic ... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/.../bigfoot-dna-proves-cre... So is this " Mountain climbers in the Nepalese Himalayas spot a yeti in this illustration from the 1950s. The recent study had no such luck. Wonder what distrubution polar bears or their close relatives have had and if they are more ancient than we realize. I don't pay any attention to "video proof" since everything is blurry and is never a clear image of anything I can tell. RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - chaos - 11-25-2014 ~~TFS Sanjay, so the links prove that the DNA was false Not quite. There seems to be a he said, she said type of dispute on this. That don't qualify as proven false. RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - Pckts - 11-25-2014 Remeber, the alleged DNA was supposed to be brought in front of its Peers, to be reviewed in 2012. 2013 came about and still never brought in front of the peers and was called out for being a fraud. It is now the end of 2014 and still nothing. It is absolutely false. RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - chaos - 11-25-2014 ~~This is unbelievable -- my study is a legitimate study," she said. "There's no credibility in his study whatsoever ... There's jealousy out there."A total of 111 specimens of alleged Sasquatch hair, blood, skin and other tissues formed the basis of Ketchum's study. The samples came from several groups at sites covering 14 states and two Canadian provinces, she said.Reputable journals originally agreed to publish her work, she claims, but backed down because publishing a study about Bigfoot would "destroy the editors' reputations." So she acquired the DeNovo journal and published it herself. To settle the discrepancy between her research and Berger's article, Ketchum wants a new independent study. She'd allow it if she's able to watch the testing herself, because "the samples may have been switched" by Berger. It would appear, unless Berger is flat-out lying, that the only big foot here is the one that crushed Ketchum's findings.Moral of the story? Opossums are still pretty cool. I would say clearly - until further notice, the issue remains unresolved RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - Pckts - 11-26-2014 I would think that such a massive "alleged" finding would of been presented. But obviously it was nothing more then a scientist trying to get recognition. Any real geneticist in their right mind would kill to be the first to prove a discovery of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, yeti, etc. The amount of financial gains, let alone the publicity would be astronomical. The fact that this person couldn't present a single shred of evidence they claimed to have in a 3 year period is proof that its nothing more than a embellished claim. RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - chaos - 11-26-2014 This supposed dna, according to Ketchum, matches nothing in any known database. If true, that alone doesn't qualify its from a bigfoot, hence the claim of having solid proof bigfoot exists is moot. Until one is capured or remains found, the question will remain. Is it real? RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - Pckts - 11-27-2014 Remember, the Known Data base was never used. They never presented it to be reviewed. The only "data base" that could of been used is their own. Thats why all scientific discoveries must be peer reviewed to be used as scientific data. Science doesn't discriminate. If its never presented its because its unfounded. RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - chaos - 11-27-2014 ~~In the U.K., researchers from Oxford University and the Lausanne Museum of Zoology are examining alleged Bigfoot remains to test for unusual DNA. Their results will be submitted to a peer-reviewed scientific journal. There's no shortage of enthusiasts looking to shed light on the subject. RE: Bigfoot,Ghosts, UFO's and other phenomenon - Pckts - 11-29-2014 Any links available to back the claim?
