Possibly coming to check on how his progeny are doing. *This image is copyright of its original author Chitwa Chitwa Private Game Lodge RE: The Birmingham Males - vinodkumarn - 09-29-2017 Chitwa Chitwa Private Game Lodge: September 26th, 2017 Later on, two of the BIRMINGHAM males made their way into the area we traverse and made themselves comfortable amidst the blustery wind in one of the drainage lines that run through the area. RE: The Birmingham Males - sik94 - 09-30-2017 MALAMALA: The Kambula pride and the 2 Gowrie males finished off their respective buffalo kills. The 2 males then made their way to Mlowathi Dam. The 6 lionesses joined up with a Manyelethi male north of West Street Bridge. RE: The Birmingham Males - Michael - 10-04-2017 Birmingham/Gowrie Males Nhenha & Nsuku - MalaMala Game Reserve Theo York - Posted 3 Oct 2017 Turn up the volume and listen as these 2 Gowrie males loudly and clearly broadcast a message: “This is our turf!” A lion can roar as loud as 114 decibels, a sound that can be heard from over 10kms away. Video by ranger Theo York RE: The Birmingham Males - sik94 - 10-04-2017 The switch has been flipped in the birmingham coalition, any intruder should think twice because they are not the passive coalition they used to be anymore. RE: The Birmingham Males - vinodkumarn - 10-06-2017 Chitwa Chitwa Private Game Lodge: October 4th, 2017 Yesterday, one of the Birmingham males was found near the most recent den site of the smallest four Styx cubs, which is now vacant. Once the morning sun became to much for him he went and sniffed around in the old den before coming to rest beneath a shady bush. We left him to enjoy his camp and peaceful day as we ventured on with our safari.
