RE: Mangheni Pride - Ttimemarti - 10-03-2024

I’m pretty sure I just saw cub#10 was just seen on the buffalo kill eating alone but tinya idk

RE: Mangheni Pride - Mapokser - 10-04-2024

The cubs that can be identified at the buffalo kill are not him, and the other ones seems too big and pale to be him.

Then it must be a different video he’s on the kill alone in the video I saw and that’s what the caption says and he was with two adults laying a few feet away but if it’s not him then my apologies

Is the Talamatie male lion and the Nukhuma male lion still in Sabi Sands?

Would the still be around the West or in the north of Kruger? Strange that one of the lionesses is not there and the youngest cub is not there.

Honestly I don’t think I’ve seen either one for about a week to be honest

Ximhungwes really seemed to have dominated that encounter despite being the smaller pride, wow, especially considering Savanna has always been seen more as Mhangeni territory. PCMs legacy is getting hurt left and right yet these boys don’t seem to be around to stop it.. Mhangenis really deserve better and the only reason I’ve not rooted for them to get taken over by a new coalition is because of the offspring in that pride, ofcourse that doesn’t matter if these things keep happening.

RE: Mangheni Pride - Ttimemarti - 10-24-2024

The legendary youngest mhangeni cub is gone my heart is broken completely I guess the two old females did give the pride it’s aggressive nature now that they’re gone the aggressiveness is gone as well

RE: Mangheni Pride - NLAL11 - 10-24-2024

Sad about both cubs but particularly the youngest boy. He survived after his mother died, and always managed to fight for his place at the 'dinner table'. He seemed like a survivor.

It's a real shame the PC males seem to have abandoned them so completely, especially as it seems unlikely they will become pride males of the Nkuhumas after all. If this keeps happening and the Mhangenis lose all of their offspring, that's a huge chunk of PC legacy gone. It would go to show that the most aggressive males don't necessarily end up with the most descendants.
