Gorilla and Man Arms
"Here, the similarity of a close human relative, the gorilla, and a physically-large modern human being is detailed. Both weigh in slightly higher than 300-pounds. The gorilla's hand dwarfs that of the man's and probably possesses a grip strength un-achievable by any human. The man's arm is much shorter, and yet at near equal weight, the forearms of the gorilla dwarf those of the strongman."
"This is one of the reasons why, even at similar weights, a modern man wouldn't even touch a great ape or primate in strength because of the iron-stacked tendons and more function-able and stronger muscles of the latter."

Superb, I believe these lions should be the historical Persian lions.
Unlike the Indian lions, they did have huge mane and shaggy appearance.
