For two reasons I don't think so. 1- Their territory doesn't extend that far south. 2- One male wouldn't be able to injure legs and back and also the head of the two young males. That was my first thoughts as well, but after more views of the area it looks like a minor injury. RE: The Birmingham Males - Wild Warrior - 08-29-2017 Birmingham Boys on territorial patrolling. RE: The Birmingham Males - Tshokwane - 08-31-2017 Credits to Villiers Steyn, At Close Quarters - Nkorho. We received a call from the West of a mating pair of lions, a Birmingham male and an Nkuhuma female. We headed in that direction and found the pair in some very thick bush. The male was Tinyo from the Birmingham coalition. We followed them through some difficult bush but they soon walked into a clearing which allowed us the opportunity to get some fantastic shots of them. They walked by us, very close to our vehicles. They then started heading towards a watering hole and we tried to anticipate them drinking but they decided to walk straight past the water and lie in the shade of a tree. We spent a few more minutes with them before heading back to the lodge for breakfast and photographic training with our guests. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author
