These styx males have grown into impressive looking lions. They seemed quite scrawny looking and didn't make much noise in SS as young males.

Well in their early days in SS, they where surrounded by big/adult males, they where chased numerous times by 5 Bboys, 4 Majingilanes and 2 big Matimbas who even beat them in a fight and one of them was in very bad condition after the fight . They went south, but that area was under control od 2 massive Charleston males. As only 2 young males then, there was no future for them in SS, only way to survive was to go into Kruger. Today would be different, as theres nowhere near competition in SS as was few years back.

These males look like the lions from the Mara. Most lions from KNP don't look as stocky as the lions in the Mara for some reason.

I read a article about lions of Samburu region in North Kenya and they say something curious about masai mara lions - “If you brought a Masai Mara lion to Samburu, it wouldn’t survive a day. They’re fat and spoiled,” ...
For me its the availability of prey in that area, the migration bring alot of animals and lions dont have any problem in finding food... also they found alot of big prey like Buffalos, Hippos, Giraffe. James Hendy said on Safari live that he watch in Mara lions killing 10 or 11 Gnus and just eated 3 or 4, anyway this is my perspective maybe other people knows so much more about this subject and the difference between lions than me.

As 2 Mluwati males moved of further east, this apperantly young male establish himself in this area, he controls Hamiltons pride, they still didnt identify him.
Maybe somebody has ideas who he might be?

Ealier on we speculated that 2 Mluwati males may be the ones which spends time with Torchwood pride. You sure they moved east, not south or south-east?
"Maybe somebody has ideas who he might be?"
Perhaps Red Road male sensed opportunity (vacum) and moved a bit further east?

Yes im sure, they where seen far east on the H 1-3 road towards Satara, with a massive pride with them.

Thats not RRM, as he was on every Tintswalo report, and now recently he is with Nharu pride.
Skybed male came from that area and appeared in Buffelshoek 1-2 months ago with a pride, but that isnt him, this male is quite young it seems, around 6 yrs old by the looks.
