You are such a hypocrite... Maybe you should be warned for claiming Birminghams still ahve control over pride and territory as well as many other your claims over time you are posting here which turned out to be opposite from the truth.

It doesn't matter that Avocas returned to Djuma for a moment. What they gained in Mala Mala is already theirs are there is no any attempt from the Birminghams to take back their lost ground.

They where seen in company of 1 female (from the video) and that female (with dot on her left cheek) was even seen mating with Wide Nose Nwaswitshaka male, at Umkumbe months ago, and i didnt see Nwaswitshakas, 4 males, taking over Kambulas after that.. And where was this sighting?? At Windmill in MalaMala, almost on Kruger border, hardly territory of Bboys..
When you open the video you can see description of Mala Mala "Plains Camp males with members of Kambula pride" not "with a single female" and when you pause at 9:05 you can see that there are at least 2 females in company with PC males.

Those are 2 different sitiations. Same would be if Imbali male would move into Djuma, roaring all over, was seen with Talamati females while DM would keep the head low and follow Talamati subadult which would run from incoming Imbali male to Elephant Plains or somewhere, but that is not what is happening. DM is still in control over large arena and over Talamati pride, potentially beside 2 Talamati females, unless (untill?) those females will rejoin the core pride.

Avocas took most core of what used to be Birminghams territory  and were seen mating with Kambula females. Plaims Camp males are as well are making their claim over territory and were already seen with Kambula females. Tinyo hasn't been seen for some time at all, he might be even already dead while Nhenha was seen trailing Kambula sub adults. Idk about what patroling are you talking about while other males are making their presence know all over in what used to be his territory. Birminghams have nothink left, nor pride, nor land.

Wrong, Bboys are still territorial males and dominant over some Kambula females, until N. Avocas claim all Kambulas and all Bboys land and oust them as nomads..

That might happen soon, but for now thats how still is atm..

Avocas already pushed Birminghams from what used to be core of their territory. PC males were recently seen in company of Kambula pride. Birminghams have nothink left.

This is completely incorrect, both are still alive and both are still dominant over their pride. They might not have full control but don't be too quick. A good examples is the Addo boys who everyone thought already took over the Kwandes territory but they failed. Don't count your eggs before it hatches.

You cannot compare the two cases, they are very different, you have the wrong example!

RE: Lions of Sabi Sands - Tr1x24 - 08-07-2021

@Potato dont want to argue anymore, theres no point.

You are right, Bboys dont control any pride, they dont have any territory, they are completely nomads now..

Now lets move on..

Around same spot DM was seen with Nkuchuma female. I wonder if Avocas already meet up off camera.

RE: Lions of Sabi Sands - Slayerd - 08-07-2021

I've spoken to Gareth, the ranger at Mala Mala who said both Bboys are fine and a covering alot of ground meaning they are patrolling a lot more. Nhenha according to him looks fantastic whilst Tinyo is not in the best of conditions but he describes it as age, not illness. He says the Bboys are still in control and he doesn't believe they will lose that control until they are physically removed

RE: Lions of Sabi Sands - Hairy tummy - 08-07-2021

Just seen a pic on tinyo on YouTube , he looks better than he did

RE: Lions of Sabi Sands - Tonpa - 08-07-2021

Yeah looks like he has more mass on his back legs than before. Not sure if he'll fight if it comes down to it, but we'll see..

One of the talamati girls had a wire around her during the sunrise stream, not sure if it was a snare or just wire since it looked pretty loose. Vets were called out and it was removed before the sunset stream

Wonder if she picked up a snare in Manyeleti. That seems to be a hotspot for snares. The Nharu Male last year. Red Road this year...

How people manage to sneak in Manyeleti for example to put snares? I mean i understand that in Kruger, large territory with areas where there is no reserves or rangers..

But in these reserves where i assume they have a team who patrols borders/fences, antipoaching units and many amount of rangers driving around i dont understand..

And, if they catch something, how do they transport that animal out? Do they sneak it thru gates? I mean many poacher hot spots are near gates..
