Walking along a road can save you from the pestering flies, ticks and thorns in the long grass but it doesn't offer much concealment. The two Avoca males are alerted at the sound of a baboon alarming at their exposed position. Thanks for clarifying. I think DM just has very hairy elbows. I looked at recent pictures of him and don’t see swelling. I also know cats can get hygroma(?) ...
