Andrew Hearn radio collaring a male Sunda clouded leopard as part of a study to discover how the species behaves in human-impacted environments. “Evidence strongly suggests that Sunda clouded leopards are able to persist in forest exposed to a range of anthropogenic impacts, but that they are not found in oil palm plantations,” Hearn said. September 26, 2018 - Kuantan Singingi, Riau, Indonesia - RIAU, INDONESIA - SEPTEMBER 27 : A female Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) .about 4 year and 2 meter length died after being hit by a pig trap at Muara lembu .village on September 26, 2018 in Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, Indonesia. .There is often a conflict between tigers and humans because the number of forests as .tiger habitat has changed to oil palm plantations, so tigers look for food until they .are close to human settlements..''We deeply regret the death of the protected animal. Moreover, the tiger is female.
