Tiger fight at Bannerghatta Park.

RE: Freak Specimens - sanjay - 09-28-2017

This video shows tigers are very similar to lion if they live in a group. The attack tactics and defense tactics are very similar to that of lion. The three orange tiger are attacking the white tiger from all side.

Incredible video I never expected to see it ending that way, looks like that Rhino was sick because it was too easy for the Hippo to destroy the Rhino.

RE: Freak Specimens - GrizzlyClaws - 09-30-2017

@epaiva

There is something wrong with that rhino's horn.

RE: Freak Specimens - Spalea - 09-30-2017

About #594: This rhino is clearly handicapped, less alert.

RE: Freak Specimens - Apollo - 09-30-2017

Is the rhino killed ?

Maybe, since the photographer didn't show us the entire sequence.

Big tigers in circus

RE: Freak Specimens - Apollo - 10-05-2017

Tiger so curious about the lion and the lion seems not interested

RE: Freak Specimens - Spalea - 10-05-2017

@Apollo :

About #601: I don't believe they can see each other.

Yeah definitely possible.
May be the smell could have intrigued the tiger to be curious.

BIG male

RE: Freak Specimens - Spalea - 10-05-2017

@Apollo :

About #601 and #603: anyway, they are able "to guess" each other, by the smell, by the sound. The lion must certainly feel, close to him, there is an other beast that is huge by the noise produced by the tiger standing on his hind legs against the wall separating the two cages. He also felt how high the tiger had hit the wall with his front legs.

The big cats record fast.

Good observation.
Definitely the tigress was making more noise.
