I have no idea. In fact, if not for this group in facebook(CLaW) were photographers upload pics of leopards and from a couple of documentaries, I would knew next to nothing about Indian leopards.

No idea, but there are quite a few images of them, so they definitely thrive there just like they do in most other places.

@Majingilane @Pckts Well I looked into it and gir says it has about 300 leopards, quite alot. They say they have the largest concentration of big cats, too.

So i did the math and it turns out there is a leopard every 4.7 km squared roughly

That's good info. I wonder what are the variations, according to the strenght of each individual leopard.

Scarface well known Leopard at Kabini is also the first leapord sighting at Kabini for me. He challenged the resident male and failed and had to walk off from the territory. Lucky to witness the moments where scarface approached the territory with a lot of growling making his presence felt and left with a silence
