I just think it's logic that, being fed and without real exercise, they have an abundant mane. True. It wasn't meant for either of you really... visitors were aimed at.

A lot of people just assume that's how Barbarys looked like from those over-fed, selectively-bred, never-stressed abominations!

I tried to make a point as how different real, wild Barbary lions would have looked like by comparing it to a similarly raised Asiatic, who happens to vary similar genes & survived in similar harsh landscapes.
