Talamati lioness and the young male on WildEarth this afternoon. Hopefully the young female reappears soon.

“ Take a glimpse in a moment with one of the Msuthu Lionesses and her three cubs. Witness the bond between mother and offspring as they navigate growing up in the pride. Amazing to see them doing very well.

Repost from Joanne Stewart Admin of Wild Lions of Africa FB of Khanya down south :

The Talamati Young Male was seen in the South, he’s been there a few days now. I hope he finds a partner soon ♥️ thank you so much Devon Jansen for the update and the pictures and videos.

I would love to see him hook up with NK and Skorro.  The 3 of them would make a great coalition after a year of bonding.

Any news on the 4th talamati female giving birth?

RE: Talamati/Msutlu Pride - Mapokser - 05-17-2024

That would be good but probably unlikely, I don't think they'd accept him now thay they are forming a duo coalition, even roaring and scent marking.

I really loved our Queen Silvereye

Nostalgia seems to be running heavy these days. I am not even sure what caused me to think of her, and especially those final videos of her, but Aunty Othawa recently came into my thoughts as well. She and Silver Eye were but two, in a long line of legendary lionesses, I miss seeing them both.

A great recent update of the Talamati young male. He's alone again at southern Sabi Sands.

December 2015
The Talamati Pride along with the Selati male lions successfully managed to bring down a buffalo cow during the early hours of the morning! The Cubs, lionesses and the males are all looking very well fed. Images by Craig Hamilton

The Talamati pride of lions showed up during the week before heading back to the KNP. This will be a formidable pride in the foreseeable future!

August 2016
One of the young Talamati males was seen hanging around with the Mhangeni Pride/Tsalala Breakaway Pride lionesses. Interesting pride dynamics unfolding in the Sabi Sand!

As the sun rises, the Msuthlu Pride lie amongst the tall grass, their majestic forms illuminated by the golden light. Among them, the playful cubs frolic through the grass and embrace the promise of a new day.
