New video demonstrates a guard dog escaping a tiger at a sawmill in the village of Vostok of Primorsky Krai. Conflict resolution group of hunting control has been taking measures to scare off the predator for almost a month already. Still no result.

Looks like they’ll have to catch the tiger and then release him away from the settlements.

The region of the Sikhote-Alin Mountains (where the Amur tiger roams) more closely resembles that of the Atlas Mountains (where the Barbary lion used to roam) than the habitats of tigers in South and Southeast Asia, except the temperate region of the Himalayas (where the northern Bengal tiger roams), see this thread for more pictures and information: https://wildfact.com/forum/topic-barbary-or-atlas-lions?pid=95339#pid95339

How does a tigress balance the opposing constraints of raising cubs?
Abstract
The persistence of wildlife populations largely depends on females successfully rearing young through the earliest, most vulnerable period. During this period, mothers must balance the costs of home range maintenance, food acquisition, and protection of cubs. We monitored a GPS-collared Amur tigress Panthera tigris altaica for 4 months prior to and 4 months after giving birth to assess how home range size, activity budget, movements, and hunting behavior changed between these periods. After birth, home range size collapsed as activities were centered around the den site. With cubs, the tigress spent slightly less time moving, but greatly increased the rate at which she traveled. Kill rate, handling time, and daily consumption rates did not change significantly, but there was an indication that larger prey were killed during the natal denning period than in other periods. When cubs left the den site and started travelling with their mother, the female was able to increase time spent with cubs, reducing risk of predation. We hypothesize that some of the behaviors of this tigress, which appeared likely to increase cub survival, may be universal across the species, but others will be dependent on ecological parameters specific to the site.

Every now and then there are some exceptional success stories in conservation. This isn´t new, but just in case that there are some who haven´t seen this before.
These videos tell shortly the story of Zolushka. Can be called in English also Cinderella. Saved in very poor condition as a cub by hunters in the winter of 2012 and what a beautiful and healthy tiger she became.

Not sure if monster if you mean size. Many big cats look impressive, when alone in photos like this. Especially Siberian tigers when in winter fur and in good condition. But he is handsome and really good looking tiger!! Looks like a tiger, which could be above average and clearly over 200 kg. Are there more photos from this same camera and in same position maybe? It would be interesting to see if there are more.
