Over the river hehe.. 

Their natal territory of their pride is just southwest of Lion Sands / Skukuza..

Here, you can see the map of a waterhole from which their pride got their name :

They, their pride and their fathers where seen in Lion Sands and even Sabi Sabi occasionaly in the past.. 

So they are not strangers to these lands whatsoever..

I have always liked lions but around 2.5 years ago i became obsessed with them, no idea why i did, i just did.i have read many things about many lions and coalitions, taking over new territories,arriving on the scene and in general lions living a lions life,particularly the mopogo/majingilane/matimbas etc but the nwaswishaka were the first i actually seen burst onto the scene,in real time,i follow them now with a kean interest and look forward to every update i can find, i guess they will always hold a fond place in my heart now. Hope 2021 is a great year for them

This morning we found two male and two female lions resting just off the road. It looked like the one male was wanting to mate with the one female as he was always very close to her and proceeded to chase away the other male before returning to the female’s side.
