She was seen introducing all supposed 7 to the pride? The other one just had 2? I thought there were 3 lionesses.... RE: Prides of the Masai Mara - BigLion39 - 10-21-2022 Ok i came across this in the Mara Predetor Conservtion Program page. They concluded their original study around 2013 and this little jewel of info was there. These are traditional territory of some of the main prides back between 2010-2015ish. Still to this day some is the same or very close for example the Marsh pride territory. There have been breakaway prides now and prides that are extinct for example; the core Moniko Pride is most likely gone, Famous for the 6 Pack Bila Shaka natal pride. Also some have different names as well. The Kicheche Pride is NOW called the Lemek Pride. The Enolera Pride is no more. Heres the screenshots I took... *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: Prides of the Masai Mara - Mwk85 - 02-24-2023 Sausage Tree Pride with a buffalo kill RE: Prides of the Masai Mara - Mwk85 - 03-01-2023 Topi Pride RE: Prides of the Masai Mara - Mwk85 - 03-01-2023 Some members of the Marsh Pride. Subadults trying their luck at a buffalo hunt in the last clip. RE: Prides of the Masai Mara - Mwk85 - 03-03-2023 Rongai Pride with Lorkulup making a dual buffalo kill (cow and new born calf). Unfortunately the lionesses ended up attacking the subadult male again (last clip) and Lorkulup wasn't around to intervene this time. One of the lionesses referred to as "bearface" is stated to be the one that most likely initiated this attack and possibly the others that have happened to him as well. Belief is they were unhappy with him feeding too close to the cubs. RE: Prides of the Masai Mara - Mwk85 - 03-07-2023 Marsh Pride feeding on a buffalo kill. Halftail not pleased with a safari vehicle being too close in the second clip. RE: Prides of the Masai Mara - Mwk85 - 03-07-2023 Fig Tree Pride sighting. Unfortunately they're down to six cubs (was 8 or 9) and two lionesses. One lioness is missing at the moment.
