RE: Lion Predation - Ngala - 07-19-2016 I think that the lioness in the reply above (#383) is Napejo from the Olkeju Rongai pride. RE: Lion Predation - Tshokwane - 07-22-2016 The Kill. Credits to Johan Louw. *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: Lion Predation - Tshokwane - 07-25-2016 Tambuzi Safaris: Orpen Gate, Kruger National Park. We witnessed the male lion chasing and catching a young buffalo in action, then the second male appeared and both was feeding on the kill. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: Lion Predation - Ngala - 07-25-2016 Awesome sighting @Majingilane. They are the last two Northern Matimba. There has been a lot of action lately in the Kruger and Manyeleti as water becomes more scarce and the animals are more concentrated around the water courses." *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: Lion pictures and videos - Gamiz - 08-14-2016 An intruder in the herd... Lioness causes havoc at a crossing at the beginning of August while on safari with my guests. She ended up killing three wildebeests after many attempts. She even caught a warthog who had come to drink but its mother chased her off! A truly unforgettable morning. RE: Lion Predation - Tshokwane - 08-15-2016 @GrizzlyClaws and @Gamiz Guys I moved both of your posts in the "lion and pictures videos" thread here. They feature hunts, so I thought it was more fitting. RE: Lion Predation - Polar - 08-15-2016 (08-12-2016, 01:55 AM)GrizzlyClaws Wrote: Zebra got disemboweled by lioness alive. Did she successfully kill it at the end? Or did it just run off and die later? Looks to be the latter. Rare case out of a trillion... RE: Lion Predation - GrizzlyClaws - 08-15-2016 It is unlikely that zebra would make it with all those internal organs hanging out. RE: Lion Predation - Spalea - 08-15-2016 On this last photo, this zebra is pratically dead... End of the trip. RE: Lion Predation - Ngala - 08-20-2016 Another shot related to the reply #390. We were one of only 4 vehicles parked at the sighting and could move around and observe the entire spectacle." *This image is copyright of its original author
