There was a video shared here, that showed the younger male "mock" mating with a lioness, while the Xiku Male was laying by, is that the video you are referring to? If so, it was indeed odd behavior, but that, coupled to Stephanie's comments about Sandrigham referring to the BDYM as a Xiku Male, makes me wonder if he has been accepted by the Xiku Male as a coalition partner.

Yes that video and also the young male that may be his new partner, is he son of the giraffe male or xik. Males oldest son? It honestly doesn’t look good that the other xik. Male still alive

We aren't sure whose son he is, but there were some comments that made convincing arguments that he is GM's son.

If the remaining Xikukustu faces pressure once the fences drop, I think he’ll try keep the bigger boys around and maybe even form a coalition.

Fourways Pride were seen in that area recently too, starting to look more likely they do control two prides.

When a saw this photo, it came to my mind the legendary Blondie and Dozie.

Blondie, great grand father of Chela's Boy:

Beautiful comparison
Blondie is the father of Sizanani and would be cool If we can compare the 3 ( I'll try to learn how to post images correctly)
A male that died many many years ago along with Dozie that still has some grandsons and grandaughters alive
( Khanya, Mfumo Jr and some Msultu females)

Interesting that the NK territory might stretch to even MalaMala.

Originally I was afraid they would get ousted by the 3 ( probably just 2 now ) Imbalis who wouldn't relinquish some.of their territory and females to them, but at this point the NK are very well established.

It'd be nice to have them more in MalaMala, it'd mean more updates, but it's not the core territory of their females, and it could bring them into conflict with Nkuhlu and Ndhzenga, so it's better if they remain more in Kruger.
