RE: BBoys sons - Gijima - 08-15-2021 Does anyone know what happened? It seems strange hyenas could administer such a fatal bite. So sorry for him. I know Torchwood male isn't in SS at the moment, but like NK male, he's nomadic, so maybe it would be good if they have found each other.. RE: BBoys sons - Gijima - 08-15-2021 It’s strange how lately all the healthiest and strongest males from each coalition is dying. Nharus, Monwanas, Orpens and so on…. Styx was definitely the more dominant and confident one. RE: BBoys sons - sik94 - 08-16-2021 From what I'm gathering it doesn't seem to be a fight, someone just got a good bite into his groin area and he just bled to death. Could be a Hyena or even NK male, it's a bit strange. RE: BBoys sons - Tr1x24 - 08-16-2021 RE: BBoys sons - Tr1x24 - 08-17-2021 Another picture of Styx male with a kill they stoled from Mhangenis, hyenas behind : Photo Credits : Flipside Wildlife Photography *This image is copyright of its original author No visiable injuries from outside, but idk what is that line between his legs, pouring blood? If thats the case, he prob bleeded out very quickly.. Shame that Flipside Wildlife Photography dont comes out and say what exactly happened there afterwards, he prob stayed at that sighting.. RE: BBoys sons - Tonpa - 08-17-2021 I think it's a stick *This image is copyright of its original author Strange though, no blood running down the back of his legs or anything RE: BBoys sons - Tr1x24 - 08-17-2021 (08-17-2021, 12:58 AM)Tonpa Wrote: I think it's a stick Yea its a branch behind.. But they claimed the kill already and it looks like Mhangenis left, and no sign of blood.. I dont think 5 hyenas would dare to fight them afterwards.. RE: BBoys sons - Tonpa - 08-17-2021 I wonder if the NK male didn't accidentally kill him afterall, didn't something similar happen in Thornybush with the Xikukutsu males? One of them got an arterial wound from one of his coalition partners and almost died? One of them got an arterial wound from one of his coalition partners and almost died? Idk, strange that he would bite him around groin area in a 1vs 1 over a a kill, i find that very unlikely.. Hyenas are known for attacking and biting groin area of male lions.. I mean, if he is still not bleeding when those pictures where taken, then somebody witnessed what happened.. One of them got an arterial wound from one of his coalition partners and almost died? Something similar definitely happened here. Even a claw from a lion could probably sever an artery let alone those canines digging in. Exactly, the previously known as the '"smaller-maned Xikutkutsu'" was seen bleeding A LOT as he was moving along the long green grass. It was evident that had clearly meet a tough match, he was looking bruised and beaten. There were some rumours that he fought with the Avoca pride or other prides in Thornybush, but after all, Nothing was confirmed by rangers and nobody witnessed of such fight RE: BBoys sons - Potato - 08-17-2021 The Nkuhuma male who recently lost his coalition partner was approaching a scene with the Ntsevu / Kambula pride and Birmingham / Gowrie male feeding on a buffalo on Londolozi Game Reserve and they attacked him. Luckily he got away. https://www.facebook.com/Legendsafaris1/videos/1152678678550623 RE: BBoys sons - Tr1x24 - 08-17-2021 (08-17-2021, 03:00 PM)Potato Wrote: The Nkuhuma male who recently lost his coalition partner was approaching a scene with the Ntsevu / Kambula pride and Birmingham / Gowrie male feeding on a buffalo on Londolozi Game Reserve and they attacked him. Luckily he got away. Uhh, close call by NK.. Was that Tinyo or Nhenha? Its hard to see.. NK prob got a bit of confidence with Styx as they where stealing kills from other prides, but as Styx is gone, he needs to stop trying to do this against that big of a pride, because they wont be intimidated by only 1 male, especially when 1 their dominant male is around. |
