RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Pckts - 08-31-2014 Here we have Ustad (T24) taking a morning stroll in his vast kingdom where trees, prey and water, everything is in abundance. Clicked on April 5th 2014, Ranthambhore National *This image is copyright of its original author Tiger Tourism. Big Cat 'Gabbar'. at Tadoba National Park, 11th June, 2014. *This image is copyright of its original author One of the heavier built Tiger at Tadoba - Saturn! He is bit illusive to spot in general. Lucky to find him in end June. *This image is copyright of its original author (on a side note, Saturn is definitely not Namedav, at least according to this picture)\Shivaji in his habitat.. Maya drinking water at Pandherpoorni waterhole 2 Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, India *This image is copyright of its original author RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Apollo - 08-31-2014 Both Saturn and Namdev are the same tiger. Just look at the stripe pattern RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Pckts - 08-31-2014 Ok, its hard to tell because Saturn seems to have a darker coat than Namdev and a more filled out frame. But you're probably right, their facial stripes do look very close but the bodies seem different to me. RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Apollo - 08-31-2014 Check the stripes. Coat colour variation is due to lighting and angles. *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Pckts - 09-04-2014 Bikash R. Das was observing this large male tiger in the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in October, 2012 from a distance of 25 m. Suddenly from the other side a vehicle approached and halted within one meter of the cat. The photographer, seen here in the jeep, was willing to risk his life and that of his four children in the jeep in order to get the perfect shot. This is the ugly side of conservation photography that needs to be tackled correctly. How do you think we can effectively promote ethical photography and tourism?
