RE: THE PUMA - CAT OF ONE COLOUR (Puma concolor) - Balam - 10-21-2020 Monster tom from Arizona *This image is copyright of its original author By Brian Fisher Based on footage that I've seen the cougars from Arizona appear to be consistently great in size. An in-depth study on the morphology of this population would be interesting. RE: THE PUMA - CAT OF ONE COLOUR (Puma concolor) - Balam - 10-21-2020 Impossing tom from Idaho that was unfortunately treed by a hunter. *This image is copyright of its original author By LaVoy Eborn RE: THE PUMA - CAT OF ONE COLOUR (Puma concolor) - Pckts - 10-23-2020 RE: THE PUMA - CAT OF ONE COLOUR (Puma concolor) - TheNormalGuy - 10-23-2020 [Mountain] Lion on a kill runs from Slough Creek Pack [May 4, 2003] Duration : 1 min 43 Uploader : International Wolf Center Wolves involved : 217F & 261M RE: THE PUMA - CAT OF ONE COLOUR (Puma concolor) - Balam - 10-23-2020 (10-23-2020, 09:46 PM)TheNormalGuy Wrote: [Mountain] Lion on a kill runs from Slough Creek Pack [May 4, 2003] Great record, she stood her ground nicely and only started to run when the wolves outnumbered her. I think a mature tom would not have backed off. RE: THE PUMA - CAT OF ONE COLOUR (Puma concolor) - TheNormalGuy - 10-23-2020 If she stayed at the carcass, the uncollared gray would have also taken part in the interaction. That uncollared wolf was hesitant and felt that the couguar was leaving, so he [or she] didn't need to chase her off probably. But 217F & 261M would have confronted the cougar at the carcass if it stayed and with the influence of those, the uncollared wolf would had join and a 3 vs 1 would had ensued in my opinion.
