RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Apollo - 08-26-2014 Shivaji This is what the photographer said, Easily the biggest Tiger I have ever seen in Tadoba (have still not managed to see Wagdoh ), Shivaji is a treat to watch. As he emerged from a bamboo thicket and walked away, I kept praying for him to turn back and glance once in our direction, but alas that was not to be I have not seen too many recent images of this majestic creature shared from Kolsa & I hope that The Boss is healthy & safe ! *This image is copyright of its original author Princess of Sathyamangalam. *This image is copyright of its original author Waghdoh *This image is copyright of its original author Tigress T-39 in Ranthambore N P with a Porcupine quill stuck in the neck & a facial injury. *This image is copyright of its original author Raja *This image is copyright of its original author RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Vijay Rajan - 08-26-2014 Quote:Absolutely great to have an addition from Satyamangalam, to the database ! RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Vijay Rajan - 08-26-2014 Yours truly happens to be one of a handful of guys to have not only sighted but also photograph this extremely shy Tigress ! This one-eyed female looks to be around 4-5 yrs old and is a resident of the Agarzhari buffer zone of Tadoba. After spending 3 full days in Agarzhari, I finally managed to track her down, courtesy fresh scat as well as pugmarks in December 2013. Fresh pugmarks of Wagdoh besides her trail also suggested she might perhaps have been courting him too. She runs for cover the moment any vehicle approaches and hence is seldom sighted. Her eye injury which looked quite recent, could perhaps have been sustained during a hunt. Hope she litters this coming season and goes onto become the Queen of her domain despite the handicap, a la Kankati (with a happy ending of course). *This image is copyright of its original author RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Vijay Rajan - 08-26-2014 The One-eyed Tigress from Agarzhari, Tadoba. *This image is copyright of its original author RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Roflcopters - 08-26-2014 awesome information Vijay and i remember seeing that tigress a while back, TFS *This image is copyright of its original author Big male from Bardia National Park, Nepal (credits to Phantera for finding this) *This image is copyright of its original author Tigress on her kill (2013) - Central India *This image is copyright of its original author Male tiger from Pakka Tiger Reserve (North East India) *This image is copyright of its original author same guy *This image is copyright of its original author Another chap from Pakke Tiger Reserve *This image is copyright of its original author Bamera with Kankatti and one of the cubs *This image is copyright of its original author The late king Khali from Corbett *This image is copyright of its original author Shivaji in 2012 *This image is copyright of its original author Jobhi last year during Monsoon *This image is copyright of its original author Bamera in 2011 *This image is copyright of its original author a gif of Agasthya aka the father of Raja, Ram and Shettikere male *This image is copyright of its original author Raja last year RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Roflcopters - 08-26-2014 *This image is copyright of its original author Big male tiger from Kaziranga (2013) *This image is copyright of its original author Kariya Ghatti male (Kanha national Park, 2010) *This image is copyright of its original author Big tigress from Corbett *This image is copyright of its original author Prime Bamera RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - sanjay - 08-26-2014 Great images vijay and rofl, kudos RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Pckts - 08-26-2014 Can you guys tell me about Pakka Tiger reserve? The 862 square kilometres reserve is protected by the Department of Environment and Forest of Arunachal Pradesh. As Bhutan belongs to the famous Terai arc, I suspect that all the tiger populations on this area represents the largest tigers at this day. RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Roflcopters - 08-29-2014 Two Amur males caught marking their territory. RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Pckts - 08-29-2014 Amurs have such dense coats, very cool looking.
